Jenna grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and learned quickly that Tahoe was where she wanted to be. She fell in love with halfpipe at a young age and pursued a competitive career for over 10 years. Jenna decided to step away from the competitive scene to follow her dreams in medicine and has become a PA-C working in neurosurgery. Jenna's athleticism doesn't stop when winter ends, as she fulfills her competitive drive with mountain biking and surfing. Being in the mountains helps her mind heal and heart become full again.
Nature is the real medicine and my passion is to help others believe just that. My hope is to inspire as many people as possible to take time and enjoy the outdoors as a natural playground. Become uncomfortable and embrace the beauty.
Finding balance is definitely not easy and I find myself constantly pushing to be better. It's especially difficult working at the hospital and wanting to be outside every day, since being outside is what makes me whole. I try to set goals, as this brings focus and determination into my life, forcing myself to find balance for the things I want to accomplish.
