As part of our limited Stio (ft. Taylor Guitars) collab, Utah born-and-raised Stio Ambassador and professional freeskier Andrew Pollard transformed this Taylor Guitars GS Mini with his original artwork that represents his state’s varied landscapes and shows his love for Utah, from start to finish.

Every Stio Mountain Studio dedicates a spot in the corner to a certain guitar—not just any old six-string, but one created by the talented artisans at Taylor Guitars. It’s a tribute both to our founder Sulli’s passion for plucking the strings, and to all the times when music has forged connections across campgrounds and tailgates with friends and strangers alike. This original design appears on a made-to-order Taylor GS Mini, chosen for its rich, resonant voice, impeccable quality standards and compact proportions that travel easily and fit any environment, from the cabin to the campfire to the back “porch” of an adventure van. This right-handed guitar comes with a lightweight structured gig bag equipped with internal and external pockets, a pair of handles, and built-in, adjustable backpack straps for easy portability.

Warranty

Once you receive your guitar, take a moment to register it with Taylor Guitars. Registration unlocks full warranty coverage and ensures the most responsive service from Taylor’s Customer Service team, should your guitar ever need it.

Managing Humidity

Because the instrument is made of wood, one of the most important things you can do to keep it in great playing condition for a lifetime is to maintain a healthy level of humidity—between 40 and 60 percent. Extended exposure to overly dry conditions can cause the wood to dry and crack, while excessive humidity can cause the wood to swell. You can find more information about humidity control here.

About Taylor Guitars

Headquartered in El Cajon, California, Taylor Guitars was founded in 1974 by Bob Taylor and Kurt Listug. The two first met while working at a hippie guitar shop in San Diego. Their shared passion for guitar making, along with their gritty resolve to make a living doing what they loved, nurtured the company’s gradual transformation from a struggling shop into the leading global manufacturer of premium acoustic guitars.
