As the​​ universal dress code of mountain life, ​​we can’t resist buttoning into flannel as soon as the first frost hits—but we also can’t resist transforming it to get even more time in the fabric we love. Designed for the many modes of cold days, this overshirt keeps the natural comfort and casual styling we love about flannel, with a spacious fit that can do the work of a light jacket. Knee-length, heavyweight organic cotton fabric keeps out the cold and hands hang cozily in the extra-large side pockets. High-cut side panels create room to move while walking, while tortoise-style buttons and a Western back yoke evoke the roots of our hometown. Layer it over leggings, fleece—or even with another flannel.
